Shut it!

I'm not really opposed to homosexuality. I'm even treating it as a common thing already because of how prevalent it is in my school. However, what will you do if a friend of yours just keeps on yapping about how this other girl does this things just to get her attention which makes her think that the other girl must have a crush on her because the other girl is treating her like 'someone special' and you're just so damn tired of hearing all of those things but you can't actually tell your friend to shut up or else because she'll get hurt if you do it?
its pretty funny how some people twist things around so that they won't come out as the desperate ones. Its also funny that they keep on beating around the bush when you already know what they're gonna say but you still find sweet torture in seeing them all shy and uncertain of how they're gonna say that thing they want to say. And its incredibly funny how they always try to deny the truth when awhile ago they're already stating the facts that they like that person.
the whole thing's actually fine with me, but I can't very much relate if the object of my friend's desire is also a girl. I mean, hello? I also have the same physique as her crush: I have boobs and a butt and a face and arms and hands and feet and hair....You know, I also possess those things, too. And the fact that her crush doesn't actually look like a guy only make things weirder for me.
now, pretend you're in my shoes......what're you gonna do?

Somebody To Love

by Queen

Can anybody find me somebody to love

Ooh, each morning I get up I die a little
Can barely stand on my feet
(Take a look at yourself) Take a look in the mirror and cry (and cry)
Lord what you're doing to me (yeah yeah)
I have spent all my years in believing you
But I just can't get no relief, Lord!
Somebody (somebody) ooh somebody (somebody)
Can anybody find me somebody to love ?

Yeah
I work hard (he works hard) every day of my life
I work till I ache in my bones
At the end (at the end of the day)
I take home my hard earned pay all on my own
I get down (down) on my knees (knees)
And I start to pray
Till the tears run down from my eyes
Lord somebody (somebody), ooh somebody
(Please) Can anybody find me somebody to love ?

(He works hard)
Everyday (everyday) - I try and I try and I try
But everybody wants to put me down
They say I'm going crazy
They say I got a lot of water in my brain
Ah, got no common sense
I got nobody left to believe in
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
Oh Lord
Ooh somebody - ooh somebody
Can anybody find me somebody to love ?
(Can anybody find me someone to love)

Got no feel, I got no rhythm
I just keep losing my beat (You just keep losing and losing)
I'm OK, I'm alright (he's alright - he's alright)
I ain't gonna face no defeat (yeah yeah)
I just gotta get out of this prison cell
One day (someday) I'm gonna be free, Lord!
Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love love love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love somebody somebody somebody somebody

Somebody find me
Somebody find me somebody to love
Can anybody find me somebody to love ?
(Find me somebody to love)
Ooh
(Find me somebody to love)
Find me somebody, somebody (find me somebody to love) somebody, somebody to love
(Find me somebody to love)
Find me, find me, find me, find me, find me
Ooh - somebody to love
(Find me somebody to love)
Ooh
(Find me somebody to love)
Find me, find me, find me somebody to love
(Find me somebody to love)
Anybody, anywhere, anybody find me somebody to love love love!

Wooo somebody find me, find me love.

Japanese Animation

When people found out that you are an anime fanatic, their immediate reaction is: "Yuck! talaga?? BAKIT??" and then you're stuck between admitting your true love for anime or denying what you've said by cracking up some lame excuse like, 'Ay, Hindi. matagal na yun. Hindi na ako mahilig ngayon.'
What's up with people and their "discrimination" towards anime fans? Its not as if anime fanatics are lower than them already just because they fall in love with characters who only exist in paper!! And so what if they love to draw anime all the time, sing Japanese songs in the bathroom and speak and write in Japanese due to anime influence? Are they any different to those people who adores superstars/the girls/boy next door and sighs and daydreams and doodles in their notebooks with glazed eyes the names of their million crushes in the planet? THEY ARE NOT!! They bloody well are not so people should damn well stop considering anime fanatics as immature and childish persons!!!

Ms. Dependent

Why can't people do something on their own? Why do they have to be so utterly, annoyingly, hopelessly dependent? I'm excluding babies, toddlers and elderly, of course, but what about adults--and teenagers?
Its really so frustrating when people come up to you to say, "Hey, let's do our project.", then you will all sit down to start it, then you will realize after 10 minutes that they are just sitting there, looking expectantly at you as if you're commander of their battalion who's aboard the next ship being dispatched to the war zone. Hello? Do they still need others to tell them what to do? Why can't they figure it out for themselves!? Where's the bloody adventure in their lives, for crying out loud!!! They are so annoying that I really want to bite them if ever they do that to me one more time. I'm not their leader in the first place! And don't they ever use their brains?!?
I can't really believe how they manage to survive grade school and high school with that kind of attitude. I can't believe how they also managed to get away from it. I can't believe that other "sensible" and "independent" people are also letting them do it.
Most of all, I can't believe they have still plans to go to college.

Peer Pressure

There are different kinds of peer pressure, but what I would want to focus right now is the kind of peer pressure wherein the victim doesn't really have any choice but to obey or else. Bullying, although very prevalent in whatever school you are in, is obviously a very unhealthy activity for the one who's doing the bullying and the one being bullied. The mere thought of it is not very likeable either, so why do people still do it? I mean, HELLO!?!? What do you get by forcing other people to do what you want??? To look "cool" and "hip" and "popular"?? OH, PLEASE. If you have an IQ average which consists of only 1 unit, I think u have sufficient reason to stoop so low to this kind of attitude. Not to mention that maybe you also have huge personal insecurity issues. And aren't those bullies aware that they are not only increasing their negative popularity to the crowd, but they're also decreasing their brains' activity, therefore letting their IQ average drop below 0? And don't they realize that the person they've bullied might retaliate dangerously? Seriously, if those people do not want others whispering behind their backs and backstabbing them, then they should stop their bullying sessions pronto!

The Church and the Bible

it is actually very hard to understand the Bible using the context of the world today. there are a lot of contradictions and confusions that people, especially the youth, are experiencing, and unfortunately, the Church isn't much of a big help. i mean, there are a lot of priests who're ineffective when they are sharing the Word of God, especially in their homilies, therefore the people are having a hard time understanding AND applying the teachings of Christ. they don't actually give a simple example of how we could actually imitate Christ's way, and most of the time, they just keep droning on and on about their own experiences(or other people's) on some things, which is actually very far from the day's Bible scripture. sometimes its even worse--they just read a page long summary of something and expect the crowd to understand what they've said. i'm not blaming all the priests existing in the world, but i just hope that the Church will really monitor their 'messengers of God's word' in such a way that those 'messengers' would bring the people closer to God.
i'm not only frustrated with the priests, but also with the Bible itself. i'm not really challenging God's supremacy or anything, but frankly, the things written in the Bible seems a bit illogical and impractical in our world today. for example: its really stupid of you if you give everything that you have to your neighbors. i'm not saying that its not good to share, but what if those people you call neighbors take advantage of your kindness? you still give them everything you have, believing that there will be a much, much better reward in the end anyway even if you're now just living in scraps because you actually gave your all to everyone? and there's also the irony in the Bible saying that we should be humble and consider ourselves 'unworthy' so that in the end we will be the ones who're on the top, but we should also be proud of ourselves as God's children, and we should always value ourselves, our possessions, talents, capabilities, etc.... and all those things. so which should we follow?? the former or the latter? and don't you think it is also a bit selfish of us if we think of how we could actually be at the top, higher than everybody else? how we always strive to be higher than those people who're unfaithful to God?
and what's with those mortal sins? anger, pride, lust, envy, gluttony, covetousness, sloth..... does this mean that if we ever get lazy, we're already comitting a sin? that it is wrong to compare ourselves to other people?
so my real questions are these: what is God's true message to us as His children? and how can we be worthy of this title?
